Cambrian College Continuing Education
Cambrian College has hundreds of part-time alternatives to help you improve your abilities, fire your passion for personal growth, and achieve your educational objectives.
To be as flexible as feasible and to accommodate your busy lifestyle, courses are available online and begin throughout the year.
The continuing education program in Cambrian College is internet/online based.
There are no defined lesson times or days of the week. Students can access the course whenever it is convenient for them from a computer that can be placed almost anywhere. The course materials are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Students access course modules via an Internet portal. These modules feature the same content as a regular classroom setting – lecture material and notes, reading assignments, student assignments, questions and answers, classroom discussion, and homework.
Please keep in mind that all courses have start and finish dates.
There will also be due dates for assignments, examinations, and so on. As a result, during the first week of the course, students are needed to log into the course and obtain their course schedule.
Cambrian College Campuses
Cambrian College has three campuses in Sudbury, Espanola, and Little Current.
Cambrian College’s Sudbury campus has a sports center with a 6,000 square foot contemporary weight training facility, functional training room, three international squash courts, saunas, and other amenities.

Cambrian College Nursing
You can earn a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Cambrian College (Laurentian University Collaboration) and rise to the top of your field! You will receive the skills, knowledge, and clinical experiences needed to work as a nurse in hospitals, long-term care facilities, and community care settings, as well as the chance to examine interesting national and international career prospects.
In collaboration with Laurentian University, Northern College, St. Lawrence College, Sault College, and Cambrian College, the Laurentian University Four-Year Collaborative Nursing Program combines unique courses in humanities, sciences, and social sciences with preparation, in theory, simulation, and clinical practice setting.

Cambrian College Scholarships
Scholarships, bursaries, and government loans are available at Cambrian College. Through its awards program, the college aids a total of 1,000 students each year, and more than 50,000 CAD in scholarships are offered to overseas students.
International students are also eligible for non-specific scholarships totaling $100,000 CAD.
Students are able to apply for employment on campus. The college has set aside 30,000 CAD for international students to work as student interns.

Cambrian College accepts students for the Fall semester. Students who wish to be considered on an equal basis must apply by February 1st.
Applications received after this date will only be reviewed on a first-come, first-served basis and in accordance with the availability of openings.
A completed application form, copies of educational diplomas or transcripts, English language proficiency test scores, and other papers may be required for admission to the college.
Applicants can apply online and are required to pay a non-refundable application fee of 95 CAD.
What is the application procedure? Below are the steps:
- Select a program of interest and find out its general needs and availability.
- As an international student, you should also be aware of the English language requirements as well as any country-specific needs.
- Submit your completed applications, together with your basic personal and academic information and a non-refundable application fee.
- Provide required papers such as transcripts, English language proficiency scores, other exam results, and so on.
- Wait for a formal offer of admission, after which you will pay your tuition price and use the receipt to apply for a study visa.

English Language Proficiency Requirements
Cambrian College needs its students to achieve specific English language standards in order to be able to catch up in classes where English is the primary medium of teaching.

The Visa Application Procedure
If they want to study in Canada for 6 months or longer, all international students must apply for a study permit and a visa. The full procedure typically takes 4 to 8 weeks and maybe completed with the assistance of the local Canadian Embassy.
If you are a legal resident of a country such as China, India, Morocco, Pakistan, the Philippines, Senegal, or Vietnam, you can also apply through the Student Direct Stream (SDS) to expedite the processing of your visa.
However, if you wish to apply for a visa through SDS and are eligible, you must prepare the following documents:
- Copy of Acceptance Letter
- Proof of payment of first-year tuition fee
- Proof of Guaranteed Investment Certificate (GIC) for 10,000 CAD
- Medical Exam
- English language proficiency test scores
Note that candidates who do not satisfy the SDS requirements can still apply through the standard method, either online or in the Visa Application Centre.
